So....it's the night before my flight and I've been in Portland for the last 3 days. It's been fun, but I'm already ready to be somewhere where I don't have to live out of a suitcase. Hopefully when I get to Seoul, I'll be taken to my place. I'm thinking that'll be a negative at least for a few days at least though. I will be helping with a camp. I'm not sure for how long, but I've been told I'll be staying with the other teachers that'll be helping with this camp. The good news, though, for now, is that someone will be picking me up at the airport when I arrive. They called Clinton's cell last night while we were out. Oh and by they....I mean the principal of the school I'll be at. I mentioned we were out, right? Well....it had to have sounded a little funny, with bar music in the background and me with a few beers down the hatch. Ah well...it probably wasn't too bad. At least they called to tell me who was coming. On the humorous side, the travel agent called this past morning to make sure I have my visa and passport. Hmmmm.....I wonder what she would have done, had I said no? Just something to ponder.

So, I'm staying my last night in Portland at a couple of friends' house. They've very nicely offered to take me to the airport and a completely ungodly hour in the morning, saving me taxi fair. My flight's at 600AM tomorrow and they're expecting 10-20' of snow tonight and tomorrow. Think I'll get out on time? The coin could flip either way, at this point. Thay have so much snow here to begin with, I wouldn't be shocked if I got delayed an extra day.

With tonight being my last night in the US (maybe), we're cooking dinner and some of my favorites are on the menu:

good beer.....
pizza....
brownies....
and possibly some other bad for me treat of sorts, if the mood hits me....

With that...I'll be off to munch away. Hopefully the next time I write, it'll be from Seoul. Bye all...B
